DATA ANALYST

Objective:

The Data Analyst will provide data solutions for Wholesum Management to provide business insights that can help exploit opportunities. The role is responsible for cleaning, analysis, interpreting and displaying data in a concise and flexible report or dashboard, utilizing Wholesum data analysis systems. This position reports to the IT Supervisor of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to create value in Wholesum’s business units, by providing analysis tools for developing strategies, planning, measuring, trending, and operational performance. Utilizing Wholesum systems such as: Dynamics Nav Business Centra, Power BI, SQL, API, Web Services, etc.
• Responsible for coding ETL data processes while implementing best practices and frameworks while also providing guidance to team members.
• Create and share reports/dashboards with actionable information within Wholesum departments: Accounting, Sales, Operations, Production, HR, Logistics, etc.
• Provides a tool to analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues. Suggest and build new metrics for analysis that enable a better perspective on business.
• Responsible for database and queries backup and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in one or more areas: data warehouse, business intelligence, data analytics, big data, data analysis, data transformation, predictive modeling, and data management.
• Experience in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Services, Advance DAX, Power Query M) required.
• Strong SQL skills required.
• Experience in SSRS Reports or Power BI Report Builder required.
• Experience in computer database management and/or data cleaning experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Moderate to above moderate levels of English writing, speaking, and reading comprehension; active listening.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Visual Studio (Tabular Model).
• Office 365 Environment.
• Power Apps (Apps developing).
• Power Automate.
• Python/R.
• Azure DevOps.
• Availability to travel to Wholesum Corporate Office a few times per year (USA). USA Tourist Visa required
